英語の数字の読み方は日本語より簡単！？！その秘密を覚えましょう！
まず大切なのは１から９９９まで数えられる事です。なぜなら英語では常に３桁ずつでしか数えないからです。

1 - one
10 - ten
100 - one hundred
1000 - one thousand
10,000 - ten thousand
100,000 - one hundred thousand
1,000,000 - one million
10,000,000 - ten million
100,000,000 - one hundred million
1,000,000,000 - one billion
10,000,000,000 - ten billion
100,000,000,000 - one hundred billion

BILLION/MILLION/THOUSAND/### -> このように並べます

なので例えばこの数字を英語で発音してみると。。。

999,999,999,999 → 999 billion, 999 million, 999 thousand, 999
長く書けば　→　nine hundred and ninety nine billion, nine hundred and ninety nine million, nine hundred and ninety nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety nine

コツは３桁ずつ読む事です。


なぜ日本語より簡単かと言うと日本語では３桁で書くけど、読む時は４桁で読むからです。

例えばこの数字を日本語ですぐ言えますか？
990,000,000,000

英語ではすぐに　→ 990 billionと言えますが、日本語では０を後ろから数えないと難しいですね。

では４桁で分けた場合は日本語ですぐ言えますよね。
9900,0000,0000　→　9900億

発音する時のコツは"and"を短い"ん"と発音する事です。
